So, what do we do about ovens? In this post Nathan says that the person from the village told Steve we wouldn't be held to commercial codes if we aren't selling food, BUT that there could be an issue with the hood anyway. Should someone talk with the village to see exactly what the requirements would be as far as hoods if we have a range? And, then, I guess we would need to have....someone who knows about these things...check out the hood that is that there and see if it is functional and meets the requirements. I know the oven isn't a top priority for Sept 6, but whether or not we plan to have one eventually makes a difference in the kitchen layout plan. And we need to pin down that layout plan before installing the sink. And we *do* need the sink before Sept 6. Is there anyone who can talk to the village about this? I could do it next week, but not before Wednesday.
