Wondering if anyone knows how much it would cost to build a 4ft wall with a door/gate in it to separate and enclose the office area from the rest of the room..so that I could still see over it but the door/gate could lock since we have sensitive/financial materials to keep locked up. A simple wooden structure that bolted to the wall.

What about having drawers and/or cabinets that lock instead of a partial wall with a locking door?
With a partial wall that you could see over, people could still see and reach sensitive materials that were left lying out and so they would need to be put away anyway. Also other people will need to have access to the printer and possibly computer unfortunately. Right now kids church has a computer and copier/printer that they use in the storage closet. And I know I have seen other people outside kids church using that copy machine also. In the new space there will not be space for that kids church office equipment.
A partial wall with no door would discourage people from being at the desk/printer/copier area who were not supposed to be there, but not prevent people who needed to use them from being there.
What do you think? Would a partial wall with no door and ocking drawers/cabinets work?
