The new building teams are organized by areas. Many decisions can be made largely independent of other teams. Such where does the wifi router go in the office?
Some decisions require heavy co-ordination among teams. These decisions typically take a long time to pin down.
TEAM LIST:
DESIGN TEAM
HOSPITALITY/WELCOME/SIGNAGE TEAM
OTHER EVENTS (Small groups, potlucks, etc)
TECH TEAM (Phone/Internet/remote sound and video)
KID'S TEAM

Here's the status with the interior design brainstorming team.
I'm meeting with Kristin, Sean, Josh & Frank to start generating ideas related to esthetics-- color, style etc.
This team is not the decision making team, but are brainstorming ideas that can be distilled and presented to the design team.
So far this is what we are working on:
Anita: facilitator
Sean: created a program that can test our ideas in 3D! He'll take ideas, play with it and have something to present to the design team and the church in the end.
Josh: Josh designs signs professionally and will come up with some samples before he leaves on vacation on the 21st
Frank: will gather a team to work on the garden, specifically outside the main entrance, bringing in the colors we'll use. He will also be looking for plant donations for inside. His wife Lisa paints professionally, so we'll consult her too.
Kristin: will work on the foyer to see how what we can do to pull together the following into a cohesive e whole: General are shared by others too, kids church entrance, welcome team & first impressions. The foyer has to work with all of these elements.
we are all working on style ideas right now and will meet in 2 weeks to start narrowing our ideas.
This team works within the parameters of what the architectural team comes up with and serves to move the esthetic aspects forward while we wait on final estimates and architectural plans to be completed.

That is a very strong team with fantastic skills in a wide range of design areas.
